i hope to post in here soon... i have a 1.6a and gainward ti4200 sitting right here... waiting on the 4g4a+ and 512mb corsair xms2700 to come in.. i'm getting very impatient! 😉

What cooling equipment is everyone using, i'd really like to know. I wish everyone would state their HSF and case cooling equipment along with all the other specs 🙁 Also what do you think would be better to invest in for a P4 1.6a system, a new HSF or some case fans?

Personally, I'd go for some nice quiet case fans like the Panaflow L1A or Vantec Stealth fans. It seems like the stock HSF is good for at least 2.4-2.5GHz.

Temps: Idle: 5c above case/system temp, full load 9c above case/system temp
(example@ 30c system temp: cpu idle: 35c, full load: 39c)
4 80mm case fans@7v; 2in, 2out

I've had it running quite a bit faster, but I'd get random BSOD's after 4-48 hours of use (*always* when scrolling a web-page with the mouse wheel)

For you epox 4g4a users, do u think this mobo is the best in price/performance in getting the most out of your northwoods? I'm just a bit worried if the board doesn't like my ddr ram which is powmem samsung pc2700 and original samsung pc2700 256mb. Thanks.
