Survey for English Speakers

First off this is for my linguistics class, if you know Spanish, please do not vote as this is aimed towards English speakers learning the language. Those of you with less than half of a year of studying Spanish may participate. There will be another one for you advanced students later 😉

EDIT - There we go Hombre 😉

Anyone? Not that i expect anyone to be home, i must be one of the few that is missing out on all the Black Friday deals.... stuck at home working on term papers and such..

I voted based on how I may pronounce them in English, although I have done maybe 1/2yr of Spanish, but I didn't with respect to Spanish.

Oh man am I glad I did it how you wanted. I debated on adios for a solid minute then I was like "this is English not Spanish" so I voted as such. Same on San Diego and on noriega I just kept going with the same philosophy.

Reading the OP before voting in polls =

This is semi-bogus because it's asking for cultural knowledge about a linguisitic topic. For instance, how many syllables are in Wednesday? Cultually 2, linguistically 3. And that's a current English word. The ones you listed are largely spanish/latin american words that are commonly heard used by English speakers.

I'm a dumbarse for not reading the OP before voting. 🙁

You might want to put in the subject for people to read your post before voting.
