Hi everyone, does anyone know how to use Gefore 4 ti to support 3 displays?? I wanated to buy the Matrox , but I after I read the artical on this site, I decided not to buy the Matrox. So with the Geforce4 we got only one AGP slut. So do I use two PCI,, or one AGP and one PCI?? would it look funny with one AGP and one PCI??

thanks

the 4ti anything will only allow 2 displays at a time. never never mix agp video with pci video, major problems from mobo boot vid, to os problems to quality problems to........you get the idea, if want more than 2 displays, get a parahelia, or some sort of quadro4 quad display or firegl card, probably won't suit a gamers needs though as these are designed from the ground up as cad cards.

When using 2 monitors with a gf4ti card only one can be active while playing a game (for the most part). At best, the second monitor will be stuck at the windows desktop. I wouldn't even bother with a pci video card unless there is a reason you need 3 monitors (other than gaming, which will only happen on the parhelia).

I have seen many setups using AGP + PCI with no problems. The worst problem was using a really really old PCI card that had bad video. Other than that, most modern OS's pick them up fine.
