The fact that makes it "surreal" is that these people were well known. Nobody gives two shits and a fuck about Thomas McDead or Cindy Corpse because only their small group of family and friends knew them. It's not a hard concept to understand. But if it makes you feel cool to be dismissive and spout monotonous cliches, then so be it. Fucktards.
