Never really liked meatloaf. Someone made me one with cheese that was pretty good, but I could go the rest of my life without any.
I quite like greek meatloaf with some rice mixed in.

I probably have more stuff from Sweden in my freezer than IKEA has in their stores :^D
That's not instant, that is literally making meatloaf from scratch.![]()
I've always used this recipe. http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/good-eats-meat-loaf-recipe/index.html
Needs mo bacon and onions!
Heh- that's southern comfort food. There's some diners down there that still sell cold meatloaf sandwiches.
Everything is pre-measured due to the stuffing mix, so it takes the guesswork out of it.
I don't like meatballs either :^D
As you said, it's the same thing.
Try this one.
Soak 50g bread in milk then squeeze it out and put it in a bowl. Add 500g minced beef, 2 crushed cloves of garlic, bit of chopped parsley, grated zest of a lemon, 25g of grated fresh parmesan, 2 eggs and some salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Smush that all up with your hands till it's all mixed then make meatball sized meatballs, roll them in flour and fry till brown.
Bung them into a tomato sauce that you made earlier to finish cooking and eat them with your favourite pasta.
Not in my America you won't
Wow, it must take all of 5 minutes to prep that for the oven, it your that lazy just buy a hungry man frozen dinner. And anyone who doesn't like meatloaf, your weird..

I don't make much meat around the house. If I eat any, it's when I'm out, or at my mother's house. I generally prefer vegetarian food, especially when it's easy like pasta. Adding meat to the pasta would only make it greasier, raise the cost, and lower the enjoyment. I prefer to limit meat to things like bacon cheeseburgers which have no valid substitute.
On the subject of meat, I left my Spam on the counter yesterday. Think it's still good? It's barely meat anyway, and the salt and nitrites probably keep it a long time. Not sure I want to spend the night puking if it's bad, but I don't want to needlessly throw out delicious Spam either. Maybe I'll fry the hell out of it, and hope for the best.
Depends on how hot your house is and how long you left it out I guess.
Spam fritters are the only way to eat spam anyway but if its gone off youre still going to be puking your ring up all night anyway. D:

I love meatloaf. I am simply pointing out the error in his thread title.
Oh, OK, I think he was referring to the prep time, if it's meatloaf there will obviously involve some cooking time. I'm also a fan of meatloaf sandwiches, some mayo, lettuce and a slice of cheese makes for a decent sammich!..
I would do anything for love...but I won't do that.
