Stripper's 'sex toy rape accidental'

A BUCK'S night reveller was completely naked and on his hands and knees when he allegedly was raped by a stripper with a "statuesque'' pink sex toy, a court has heard.

Stripper Linda Maree Naggs, 40, will argue the rape of the best man at the party in the bayside Melbourne suburb of Mornington in September 2007 was an accident.

The alleged victim had volunteered to take part in a dildo routine, but asked the stripper not to penetrate him, the Victorian County Court heard.

As she was performing her routine the man felt a sharp pain and the sex toy enter his anus, it is alleged.

The court heard he later showed the stripper blood he had wiped from his bottom.

Today, Ms Naggs' lawyer Paul Higham held up the dildo to the jury, describing it as being of a "statuesque nature''.

"This is the tool that apparently was used to commit the rape,'' he said.

"The facts of which are quite unique. Certainly, I think we all agree extraordinary.

"This is a case of accidental rape, if in fact there is one.''

Mr Higham said that during the performance the best man was stark naked "with all his bits on show''.

"He then got down on all fours, if I can use the expression 'doggie style','' he said.

"Don't worry, there aren't going to be any demonstrations in His Honour's court.''

Mr Higham said he preferred to describe his client as a "dancer'' and told the court it was the alleged victim who found her website and ordered her.

On the website, you can chose between PG rated shows, ``the sort of thing you could probably take gran to'', and XXX rated shows, he said.

Prosecutor Kieran Gilligan said Naggs was the second stripper for the night at the party and came armed with a whip, vibrator and "strap on penis shaped'' sex toy.

He said the best man urged Naggs not to penetrate him.

"You said you weren't going to do that and you did,'' he told the stripper after the alleged rape.
``Do you think this is a joke when there is blood.''

The best man reported the rape to police the next day.

He also visited the Monash Medical Centre where a doctor found his injury was "most likely caused by blunt trauma''.

Judge Tim Wood said the case "perhaps has some notoriety about it'' and urged the jury to decide it only on the facts before them in court.

Ms Naggs, of Rosebud West, has pleaded not guilty to one count of rape.

The trial continues tomorrow.

Honestly, if that happened to me, I think I'd just let it go and do my best to forget the entire disturbing incident. The LAST thing I'd want is to drag the media and the courts into it.

A bucks night stripper accused of rape told her alleged victim "it was just a joke" after he complained about being violated by a sex toy.

The alleged victim told the Victorian County Court on Thursday he urged stripper Linda Maree Naggs not to put the pink strap-on dildo into his anus and was shocked when she did.

"I was pretty upset at that stage," he said.

"I could feel something was there."

Naggs, 40, is charged with raping the alleged victim, who was the best man at the wedding, at a bucks party in September 2007.

The best man told the court he scuffled with Naggs and told her to leave after the incident.

"She said it was just a joke, just a joke.

"I knew that there was something wrong down there."

The best man said he went to the toilet and returned with a bloody tissue that he showed to Naggs.

He said when he asked for his money back, the stripper threatened to call in bikies.

At the completion of his questioning of the best man, prosecutor Kieran Gilligan tendered the pink dildo with black strap as an exhibit.

Naggs, of Rosebud West, has pleaded not guilty to rape.

The trial before Judge Tim Wood is continuing.
