I talked to my neighbor Pete Thursday. He's been home laid up for three weeks following hip replacement, and he is going stir crazy. WE always knew we would replace his roof sometime, but he informs me that another neighbor (we are all friends) is going to tear off his roof and prepare for replacing it.
Right. No way am I getting out of this one and no way could they get it done. Pete cannot climb a ladder yet and could only supervise from a lawn chair😛
I bring home the dump truck, park it as close as I can under the eaves and we tore comp roof off all day Saturday. The chimney is also shot so they started tearing that off too. I am home resting before I take it to the dump and pull the lever. I am guessing 4 tons of crap, I'll know in a couple of hours.
