WHERE IS THE FOX NEWS OUTRAGE? Oh right he gave lots of dollars to Romney so people would not mooch off the government but he's the moocher..

Is there any more hypocrisy than a Rich Republican Conservative? They pretend they don't want moochers feeding off the government because they want to steal the funds or in this case water all for themselves..

He supported Romney with money. By that very definition he is supporter of anti-mooching ideology. Remember you vote for someone, you get the entire package. So he's a republican.

He stole the public water. That makes his ideology in clear contrast to his actions.

He's a hypocrite.

Does it really have to be explained to you? Independents can lean right or left. I tend to lean more left in most instances, Selleck leans right. It doesn't make me a Democrat and it doesn't make Selleck a Republican.

Many also cover their bases by donating to both sides.

How many rich movie folks in the affluent areas of CA have a D vs R beside their name. Now look at their lawns.

You're being willfully disingenuous. A simple Google search shows Selleck is frequently mentioned as either Republican or conservative. For example:

Also, he reportedly contributed to both McCain and Bush, and a site with Selleck quotes included a quote of him saying he is conservative. While "conservative" and "Republican" aren't 100% synonymous, they are very closely aligned in spirit.

That said, this thread fails. One cannot tar all "Rich Republicans" based on the actions of one individual, especially for something fairly petty like this. The title is way over the top. Besides, if one wants to show "Rich Republicans ... are MOOCHERS!!!!!!," there are far better examples than this.
