It's truly sad that more Americans care about Tom Cruise's baby than our soldiers dying in Iraq and the War on Terror.

Or course America will wake up and care when Osama & Company bitch slap NYC or DC with a nuke...yeah, they'll care for all of 48 hours, wave the flag, yada yada.

The rest of the world laughs at us, Tom, Katy, and Suri...we're pathetic.

link?

Or are you just trying to push buttons?

What the...?

That's being a little extreme, no? Life goes on. Do you expect it to stop so that everyone can wallow in a chronically depressed state? What would you have everyone do instead?

Give a sh!t? I'll settle for that. Read the news. Watch the news. Maybe try reading the news from another viewpoint like the BBC or SPIEGEL. Then maybe go out and make an informed vote in November? How about that?

TURN OFF THE FVCKING ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT NEWS!!!!

Oh, I see because people are daring to laugh at an ATOT post they are suddenly uncaring. Who died and made you our moral American ATOT patriot legislator. I care and I vote but this thread is still amusing. Why are you in here looking and not out protesting? Jack*ss. What does BBC and Spiegel have to do with people in this thread. You telling me I am uniformed? Have you been to any middle eastern countries? I have spent time in Egypt and Pakistan (not Middle East but close  ) and have spent much time and thought processing our current foreign policy in various regions of the world. (I had a Muslim stepfather) who helped me understand the mindset of many Muslims (both the radical ones "crazy" and others like him "more secular". Am I an expert? Not on your life but don't patronize me or us reading this thread with your sanctimonious condescending holier than thou patriotic pseudo-intellectual woe is us for these fools mentality.

AHhhhhhh, I feel better after my rambling bombastic pontificating diatribe and can now rest easliy after ascertaining Vanity Fair was not punked and that my viewing this thread does not in fact make me indifferent or ignorant of American foreign policy.

Edit: My stepfather was born and raised in Pakistan and later moved to Scotland and America. I am many generations Irish/English American by bloodline for your further edification.

Better question: who gives a fvck? It is another screaming, pooping, annoying baby that will probably grow up just to be a drag on society.

Vanity Fair = pwned to the max.

Better rethink that. "Most babies are assholes"... now what person would say that in an interview and what credible news source would publish that.

but anyway... wtf cares.

Life. Live it.

I love all the posters who say "who cares ... who gives a shlt" yet they cared enough to come in here and read the post, AND respond to the post.

Jesus christ if you all can't have a little fun in your life and need to be worrying about the "real world" 24/7 why the fvck are you even on ATOT to begin with?

I guess I don't think the two things are mutually exclusive (not that I particularly care about Tom Cruise's baby). Personally I am quite sure the men who cooked up the "War on Terror" didn't do so for reasons related to terrorism anyway (hence the fact that President Bush has repeatedly said he doesn't care where OBL is), but in any case I think there's enough time in the day to read the paper and still joke about Suri Cruise. Honestly I think the only substantive thing most Americans can do in furtherance of the "War on Terror" is join the military, something most are unwilling to do. You yourself have time to post here - shouldn't you be off fighting (or at least lobbying, or at a minimum reading the paper or something)?

lmao!! that sears studio pic is HORRIBLY chopped!!! BAAAHAHAHA

it is about 100pix by 100 pix and you can EASILY tell it was chopped (the baby's head totaly does not belong along with the sears studio logo with the inner shadow turned on in photoshop). who the hell did they hire to make that chop? man they suck hard.

edit - and you can also see a patch of black stuff on the bottom left where they didn't remove the dark area and how they made the baby's head fuzzy in a sad attempt to chop it.

ROFL

Haha yeah its pretty bad. Notice the baby in the sears thing is missing part of the ear and has a misshapen chin where they cut out the coat covering part of it.

Moreover. WTF kind of catalog would use a photo with hair like that?!
And the skin tone on the face is totally different than the legs.
