<< What was the problem? Backround story? >>

She has had nearly constant headaches, similar to migraine in symptoms, for the last 8 years. She has been fired from at least 4 jobs. Without her being able to work, we had to file for bankruptcy. In November 2000 she tried to commit suicide.

<< Mmmmmm, now that's the stuff. Have her smuggle some of it out for later >>

At home she's currently been on Actiq, which is 200x the power of Morphine and hardly put a dent in her pain.

Geez man, that's rough. I think she just needs a lollipop, that will make everything better 😀

Actiq is 200x the power of Morphine? Is that even possible? 1 drop of that would probably put you into a coma! :Q

Yes it's possible. That's why it's dosed in Microgram amounts. I work for the company that invented the Oral-Transmucosal delivery system. 🙂

***UPDATE***

She's home now. She's feeling ok. She can get around pretty well.

If you are ok with incision pics. You can see what it looks like HERE...

Ouch, Amish. That looks painful...sorry to hear about her misfortunes. 🙁

That's why I plan on going to med school. 🙂

GOOD LORD AMISH!!

I remember all the times you used to say how your wife suffered from severe headaches so I am actually happy to hear that she had a procedure which will hopefully help her. I hope everything works out for the two of you. Good job for you and your wife for fighting through this stuff, I know it must have been extremely difficult.

My prayers are with you two.

Everything still going well? Glad to hear she is getting around ok and everything has worked out great so far. 😀

always in our thoughts Amish...

I hope she gets better because I can't even imagine how bad constant headaches would be for someone. 🙁

Thanks for the wishes everyone.

Her pain has increased over the past couple of days. She will be getting those staples out tomorrow (April 24). I'll bet that's going to hurt like a bitch!
