Surgery and a book-on-tape...

Hola.

So, I'm getting Lasik on Friday and I'm told that I'll basically want to ly in my bed in a dark room all day. No PSP. No DS. No gaming at all infact as the screens should/would really irritate my eyes (anyone out there had the surgery?). So, a book on tape sounds really good and I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions. 🙂

I'll deffinitely have my iPod with me and music/podcasts will help fill the day, but I would like to vary it since I'll be in a dark room all day.
 
His Dark Materials, which contains The Golden Compass is quite good on tape. I have it on my Zune, the narrator puts me to sleep.
