Haha, I wish it was that easy of a decision for me.

Well, I got the Surface Pro 2 tonight. Partly because of points raised in this thread, partly because Best Buy didn't have the model of Yoga in stock that I was interested in 🙂 I figure I'll give it a try - for the next couple of weeks I'm going to try using this is my primary computing device - no desktop or laptop otherwise. We'll see how that goes. Given that I already had a Surface RT with type keyboard, I won't have to adapt to the form factor in general.
First impressions - performance and screen quality are both leagues ahead of my RT was, not that that should be a surprise to anyone. Extra thickness and heft hasn't been too bothersome yet. Would be nice if it were thinner, sure, but I don't really think it's that big of a deal.
What about the upcoming Thinkpad Yoga that has the option for an active pen digitizer?Stylus, therefore Surface Pro 2 wins hands down for me.
They hit Microsoft hard for not having enough apps, yet they gave it a NINE on software and ecosystem? I would have assumes that a 6-7 would have been in order because, as they described, the platform exists with some solid options, but its lacking developer exploitation.
I just read the Verge's review on the Surface Pro 2 and I'm honestly confused. There are entire categories that are rated without a single mention (speakers) or little elaboration (i.e. design).

I remember reading other Verge articles that were better well written in the smartphone arena...
I like how people talk about x86 apps as legacy. It's as if Metro and/or huge single screen touch applications are the future.
The Horror.
