Surface Pro 2 Help

The screen on my Surface Pro 2 cracked. I bought a replacement. I was successful in removing old screen. I connected new screen. I can feel it reacting to when I touch the home button but the screen is black. Anyone have any ideas? I'm at a loss, and beyond frustrated.

Did you test the display before sealing it all back up?

Oh yeah. I haven't sealed it yet.
