Does this program really work ? http://www.webattack.com/get/a4proxy.shtml

What do you think of anonymous surfing, which program are you currently using (the best?)?
And does this also mask your identity on P2P file sharing (Kazaa)?

I believe that anonymous surfing is a good thing. Why should other companies/your isp see what you're doing.
You're paying for the service, not for the spying.

Instead of having a large company with logs that they'll probably never read, let's have a small company with nothing better to do than look at their server logs and see what I'm doing.

"What are you doing that is so important to hide? "

Nothing, I just want my privacy when it comes to the interenet. Everything that you lookup, check, see. Even
Important information on websites - is looked at by others. It's as if there is someone looking over your shoulder
as you go and buy groceries at the store - they follow you everywhere.

Just wondering why this isn't more of a big deal today.

You might as well just pull the plug & get it over with then, the only way to surf anonymously is at the library. Even then your movements could be watched, but at least they couldn't ID you.

Unless they fingerprinted the keyboard & mouse after you left, ran your prints, ...

You're screwed dude.

wtf?! You're way too paranoid. For one, your ISP can see what you're doing on the Internet even if you use an anonymous proxy. Fortunately for your paranoid mind, they really don't care. Secondly, websites that you visit don't know who you are, nor do they give a crap either. They get your IP address. Thirdly, which someone else has already pointed out, there's still someone who could look over your shoulder if they want (which I assure you they don't), and it's the company that runs that anonymous proxy.

Get over yourself, no one is going to track you while you scour the Internet for porn.

if you're using one of their "club cards" that's exactly what the stores do.
