I predict that Gore will have his way and still lose the election and people will be mad at him for dragging out the election this long.

The rulings are going to be from the two cases to throw out the ballots in Circuit Court. The Supreme Court hasn't announced when they're gonna rule.

her209,

You underestimate the power of spin. In any event, if after today it's truly over, we get to look forward to weeks of continuing media frenzy as the "post story analysis" crap takes center stage. I will give CNN credit for actually bothering to discuss other stories in the midst of Floridagate. Other outlets like FOX get a D-. :|

this has been an unfortunate habit in this controversy, courts promising decisions by a certain time, and then delaying it. :(

Notice how the Cheif Justice issued his dissenting opinion. Also notice, the FSC still has not redone their previous opinion. The USSC will end up determining who is president. 4-3, obviously the USSC should of had the balls to do a 5-4 split, I mean if 7 democrats can't agree, why should republicans and democrats have to. Bush went 4-0 in trial court cases, two are now overturned(the two important ones). A farce I say.

Doesn't really matter, the Fla House is going to verify the Republican electors anyway. By the time it's time to send Bush's electors the USSC will overturn the Fla SC's decision (like it really matters, the Legislative branch has jurisdiction on this anyway).

All of this makes no difference.
