I'm building a PC right now and it's not going to be very high-end as I just changed my mind from only upgrading, it's more like a bigger upgrade.
Anyway, I can't decide between a 2 core intel and a quad core. I don't want to buy a more expensive CPU only for something like 10% improved performance. Basically the choice right now is between these two:
Q6600.
E6750.
GPU will be the upcoming 8800GT with 512MB.
Note: I'll be mostly playing this for the SINGLE PLAYER, if the CPU really chugs at huge multiplayer matches that aren't in the campaign (I'm not sure about this because I haven't played it yet), then I guess the dual core would be fine. Thanks for any help.
