What does "support" mean?

I do not support their air attacks, but the ground incursion is fine. I do not support the amount of US aid they get. I do not support the British (UN) Partition Plan, bad place to make a Jewish state - holy land or not. I do support Israel's right to defend itself with the appropriate force. Israel is a rich country, I think our money would be better spent on the Arabs. Until they are back in the mainstream and have a vested interest in being peaceful they will always resort to terrorist acts. If both sides were thriving economically (and spending money on infrastructure and not weapons) with low unemployment there would be little reasons to fight.

Just an FYI, I have Jewish friends and work with the ISA through contracts. I do not know any Arabs or Muslim personally.

You don't know any Arabs or Muslims? at ALL?

I find that hard to even imagine.

Well aside from this and othe Internet sites I don't either. In fact I don't personally know any Jews.

I am a non-religious American. I support Israel, but I feel we have given the Israeli lobby far too much influence in American foreign policy, and I think Israel has frequently been guilty of using excessive force in retaliation for terrorist attacks against them.

I used to be a staunch supporter of Israel....
But after seeing so many civilians killed in Lebanon, fvck Israel....
I don't care if they are trying to limit civilian casulaties, 600 dead people is not a joke...

I'm an agnostic myself but I have a multireligious family (Catholics, Muslims and Agnostics like myself) and am generally neutral when it comes to Israel. Although lately with their over use of force, massive propaganda and the general nature of bigots that support Israel, I've been changing my opinion from neutral to against. I still think it has a right to exist and defend itself against any threats but since it is essentially a superpower in the middle east, it hasn't demonstrated the responsibility that goes with that power. Instead it's sunken to the same level as the terrorist it claims to be fighting against. Furthermore, like DonVito I agree that the Israeli lobby is far too influential in American politics and life in general which reduces the USA's ability to be a neutral broker in world affairs or at the very least a less biased one.

My country does not recognize Israel and I fully support it. (My country 😛 )

Which country is that?

His profile says Pakistan.

Oh well then I guess he's unaware that the Pakistani leadership has been conducting sideline talks with Israel for awhile now and almost came close enough to recognizing Israel. The only reason they haven't recognized Israel formally yet is because there are still a formidable size of die hard conservatives in the country that are against Israel--though if you ask them why they really don't know because they just believe whatever their Wahabbi funded Mullahs tell them (reminds me of Republicans in the USA).
I think if you took a poll today a large portion of educated moderate Pakistanis would favor recognizing Israel but as I said, officially they can't do so because they've still got ot contend with the Saudi funded wahabbi mullahs that wield a lot of power.

Anyway here's a link from a little while back about the issue: http://www.paktribune.com/speakout/index.php?id=74

A lot of the Pakistani readers were split about what to do and I'm guessing with the recent Lebanon conflict the popular opinion has probably shifted towards against.

I am an agnostic theist and an American. I will not support Israel until either hell freezes over or until Israel withdraws to behind the Green Line, I'd much prefer the latter but best I can tell the former is more likely. 🙁
