We all have family or friends
who have been affected by breast cancer.
October is breast cancer awareness month,
and I encourage all of you to participate
in events, make donations and contribute
in any way possible to informing people
and finding a cure to this horrible disease.

I am starting this thread as a place to organize contributions, share stories and to make people aware that 1 in 6 women and 1 in 100 men will develope breast cancer, that's 100 men in these forums, and close to 3,000 women.

This is just one small community of a few thousand people located in a world of 6 billion.
500,000,000 women will or have breast cancer in the world today. An ever increasing number of them are fully recovering and returning to their normal lives, all thanks to contributions from people like me and you.

I know I give random suprise breast exams to women I deem to be at risk for breast cancer every chance I get.

I feel that women with 34C-D's to be at the highest risk.

To those that have been touched in someway by breast cancer, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Cancer is a horrible thing. I hope one day, no one will have to see a loved one pass from it.
