Basically, I think Romney is going to use govt activism in his attempt to favor "job creators" by controlling capitol like a super natural devil would. Remember that the Republican party is rooted in the ideas of Hamilton, Clay and Lincoln... it has has always been pro-mercantile of death, (anti-labor, anti-consumer, and) anti-market. They don't really know how to produce and they never did so they can only be half-production and the Party is really an artificial production. First it was tariffs in Hamilton's day that were never meant to favor anything other than nationalism. The Republicans used the state in other ways to help the worker and then they thought it was because of tariffs after the fact. Then the second generation of Rockefeller Republicans took over and started globalism (the GATT, WTO, NAFTA, all other types of neo-mercantilism) through force of arms... and you know damn well that I'm not the first to say that either.

It doesn't help that the House of Morgan was Democratic mostly.
Be afraid of the GOP's Coup dtat... whether it will be Santorum or Romney it doesn't matter. I am very afraid. God's disciples will guide me through it but it could be a very unstable ride.

I agree with Dank69, a coup'dtat does not have a glimmer of a chance of happening. Romney will probably lose his presidential race, the Republicans will probably pick up a couple of Senate seats bringing it close to 50/50 in the Senate and Republicans will retain control of the House. This gives us a divided government where no drastic changes will be possible except those ordered by the Courts.

I'm not a free trade Republican, I support fair trade.

No conspiracy needed. Just your typical OCD folks with a very annoying habit that affects whole economies if the person can go there. Narcissistic folks gravitate to this type of self-esteem booster and tend to be charasmatic and always seeking limelight to feed the endless hole of having no empathy.
