eWiz has the SuperTalent 1GB sticks for $43.77 a pop. 2x1gb = $87.54 - $5 coupon = $82.54 + shipping.

PS. Save your groans.

EDIT: Apparently the old thread is gone. I guess this one will serve.

Posting codes that are not made readily available to the general public is not acceptable.

Trying to slip them in underneath the radar is grounds for a vacation.

See you in a week.

I ordered this ram and I have yet to test mine (currently building), but at this point you might as well buy nicer ram at newegg for a little more money. Ewiz is cool, but if anything does go wrong, newegg is better at taking care of you quickly 🙂 On the other hand, if youre looking for THE rock bottom price on ram, this would be it.

I have the DDR2 667 set and it runs at 920 with 5/5/5/15 timing at default voltage on my Asus P5N E SLI. I bought it a few weeks ago for $105 from eWiz and I'm VERY happy...for $89 it's incredible, but the DDR2 PC6400 Super Talnet is only $99.88 now so I'd probably buy that first.

On the other hand, I just tried them in an Abit N7-M2 nView and couldn't get them up to 800 (all other settings stock) without pushing them up to 2.1v. I may be able to relax timings a bit and drop the voltage, but YMMV.

I hope we do see him in a week. Thats what the moderator told me last time that he'd see me in a week (I got into one of those religious threads) and I never got reinstated. I should have 400 posts by now hahaha. Thanks for the deal OP 🙂

Couldn't get to 800MHz with what timings? 5-5-5-15?

Just ordered these from EWiz. But can't decide between getting E4300 or the cheaper AM2 3800.

Will this memory work fine withAM2 based boards?

Are you planning to overclock? If so, get the Core 2.

I have both of E4300/Biostar tforce965pt at 3Ghz and 3600+/Tofrce550 at 2.9Ghz, basicly they are pretty much simliar, E4300 is a little faster, but a 3600+ has a better performance and dollar ratio, both are good buys.

Thanks bruceyg.

Plan is to do some OC but not too much. Stability is more important. Whatever I buy will be junk in a yr or more. So, I am just trying to save some money.

I am talking about a 65nm brisbane core athlon 3600+, not a 90nm windsor core 3800+, I think brisbane core processors are better for OC.

I can't come close to 2.9GHZ on my Windsor 3800+, 2.75GHZ was the limit, but my board has horrible issues.
