It looks pretty cool on the Six flags website. Over here in SoCal, our Superman just goes up and down. Whoever developed it should be smacked. It's a 1:30 wait and the ride lasts 10 seconds.

I rode Superman @ Six Flags Valencia (just north of Los Angeles) back in 1997. Lines were long but it was fun.

Are you serious? That was one of most boring rides in the park. Have you ridden Goliath, X, Deja-Vu? Now those are some fun rides.

If you count the time it takes to strap down that cow sitting next to you.

superman wasn't gonna open for another like, 4 days, when i went to great adventure. I did however, go on Nitro in the pouring rain, front row no less. That was an experience, came out soaked, hurt, wasn't sure if i was covered in my own drool or water, didn't care. It was amazing.

Not the new one where you look at the ground... The other one yes in Massachusetts. It was great but being a thin guy I can never get snuggly secure in the seats. I always move around a bit which is a little more hair-raising. :p

Superman in socal sucks!!!
I rode X, goliath, DejaVu, etc... and IMO the best was X! That was cool.
I waited 2.5 hours in line to ride that and didn't get on it until about 1.5 hours after the park closed....
I wish they had X and DejaVu here in Houston :(
