As far as being a benefit, I guess it really depends on your usage.

I've been able to start the Superfetch service on a Server 2008 machine I have access to, but I forget what I had to do to get it to work...

Yep that worked and I did not even have to restart.

Only other "loose end" is firefox crashing whenever java starts.
