I can't even begin to describe how much I loathe Super Bowl halftime shows. I've missed pretty much every second half Super Bowl kickoff of the past 20 years because I always leave and go for a walk. Just to avoid the godawful halftime show.

I've also sworn off Super Bowl parties, where every non-football fan and his wife and kids show up just to eat guacamole, pizza and Doritos. The only time they shut their mouths during the whole game is to watch the fucking commercials.

I'll take a has-been over a never-was. Katy Perry only has two things that appeal to football fans and she's not going to be displaying them at halftime. If they want to have her perform put her in platform heels and let her gyrate to a Bob Seger song while the crowd hands her dollar bills. She shouldn't be singing.

The Super Bowl is being streamed online by NBC for free. If you're a cord cutter, there's no need to put up with a crowd of once-a-year football fans who are more interested in stuffing their faces, getting drunk and watching the commercials and halftime show.

The Super Bowl is being streamed online by NBC for free. If you're a cord cutter, there's no need to put up with a crowd of once-a-year football fans who are more interested in stuffing their faces, getting drunk and watching the commercials and halftime show.

The SB is OTA so you can watch it on your tv if you want. No need to watch the stream. Unless you don't have a tv then I suppose you need the stream.
