Hello folks, saw this good deal while browsing.

Galaxy GTX 560 ti - $226.99
http://www.superbiiz.com/detail.php...GB-DDR5-2DVI-Mini-HDMI-PCI-Express-Video-Card

-$15.00 Apply coupon code= DEALMONGO
-$40.00 rebate card
=$171.99 Final price

Free shipping
No tax in NY, I don't know about other states.

Be careful not to mix up the GTX 560 Ti with the GTX 560, they are two different cards with different specifications.

Here is a link to reseller ratings if you guys haven't done business with this store before

Anyways, I just thought it was a good deal because I haven't seen a lower priced GTX 560 ti since the Zotac deal a few months back.

Here ya go. Just do a froogle search on your card and there are TONS of places cheaper than the one you found just 'browsing'....
190$ - 40$ = 150$

It's a manufacturer rebate.

the Galaxy GTX 560 Ti you linked to is not the same video card as the one the OP is talking about...i thought you would have noticed it immediately, considering the cards look completely different. on top of that, there is only one GTX 560 Ti listed on the manufacturer rebate, and its the one the OP is talking about - not the one you linked to.

you are correct that a manufacturer rebate can be applied regardless of where the item was purchased, but froogle appears to have mislead you in your search for a retailer that offers this particular card for a lower price than superbiiz.com before the MIR.

You are right...I just looked. But it was in the price range of others I grabbed of a simple froogle search. I just copied one of the links. It could just as easily been any of them. My point was not to highlight a deal, although on the lower priced card this one isn't bad, his original price was too high and when someone has 1 post and says the 'found this deal while they were browsing around', my radar goes up. Spam emails always have wording like that.

If you want this card, find it elsewhere for a cheaper initial rate (froogle it 🙂 ) then apply the Manufacturers MIR.

Superbiiz is a known first-class retailer. The other places either aren't or have shipping charges jacking up the cost (Provantage). Furthermore, you don't know the difference between a 560 and a 560ti.

Don't thread crap. This is a real deal. (edit - interesting, the Newegg reviews like the HSF)

Thanks, you helped me understand this perplexing thread. I think I know what is going on now. Both the poster alleging spam (and possibly the OP too) aren't familiar with Superbiiz.

I've have to admit though, if you're not familiar with them, the name "Superbiiz" does seem sort of spammy. They used to go by a much better name (IMO), but I don't remember it (perhaps that's why they changed it).

eWiz

You can still get there by going www.ewiz.com

Did you even read my thread? I had tons of links on froogle for the TI and just snagged the first one. It just happened to not be one. Froogle is not always accurate.

And you are thread crapping me, then following it up with 'dont thread crap'.

You can find a lower price then apply the MIR.

Hello, if you found a better deal please post it for the rest of us. Anyways, I tried out froogle and while the initial hits show a lower priced GTX 560 ti; however, when you click the links, they are actually GTX 560 (non-ti). In case you're wondering, the Galaxy GTX 560 ti I linked runs at 835 mhz where as the GTX 560 Ti popping up from froogle are actually the 810 mhz GTX 560.

TLDR: The lower priced "Galaxy GTX 560 ti" in froogle are actually GTX 560.

Sorry mleejr, sounds like you were trashing E-Wiz/Superbiiz to me. They are a good place to get deals from, hell they even beat the Egg sometimes. I have bought from them many times without a problem.

Well I ordered it but I think it was the last Ewiz order I did. I had no problems with them in the past. But this time they only got the package to USP a full 3 days after my order, and of course it is the slowest UPS shipping. According to UPS tracking it will be here Monday, so I will lose the weekend that I wanted to use to upgrade two machines. Total time order to estimated arrival: 10 days.

Since this package holds the only RAM suitable for the board I ordered from Newegg, and the new egg stuff arrived after 3 days (same order date) that means I will lose a whole week worth of RMA opportunity with Newegg in case anything is wrong with the other components.

Your post reminded me of this youtube video:

Such is dealing with SuperBiz. And heaven help you if you need to RMA the thing back to ewiz......you might get lucky and get a response from them, but even if/when you do, they'll just refer you to the manufacturer to RMA with them. Ewiz/Superbiz isn't one of the better etailers to get refunds/RMA's through. (An ewiz customer for more than a few years.....and the co's horrible return/RMA situation is why I relegate ewiz to more of a last ditch option for buying from.)

Hm. I used them from ???? to 2006 and only stopped because I didn't buy much hardware lately (still using a Core2 prototype that clocks to high sunrise). Don't remember any problems.
