there's some dead body images surfacing on twitter. 10,000+ feared dead. What a shame. And weather channel only gives updates every few hours.
Pretty sad how news is in the US. You posted this last night, but only minutes ago did it hit the major national news stations.They're saying 10,000 people could be dead 🙁

Looking at the coverage on BBC. I would have thought another natural disaster hit and not a hurricane. The devastation is severe.
I meant something like a tsunami, or an extremely strong earthquake. Everything is flattened. I've never seen a hurricane do that. Unless it's from the storm surge. :hmm:err...a hurricane IS a natural disaster...😕
It's a disconnect in culture and distance. It's not a whole lot different from the tsunami of Japan a few years ago. It was not real to most Americans since it wasn't broadcast as a 'big deal.'
Sad that Duck Dynasty takes precedence :/
