Now that is a pizza. I'm glad to see you didn't get any of that sissy white "pizza" crap.

Sissy? A white pizza is far more unhealthy than a regular pizza. Instead of semi good for you Tomato sauce. You have either straight cream sauce, or an oil/cheese sauce. It tastes better and is far more manly due to it being far more unhealthy.

White Pizza with bacon bits in the sauce > all other pizza.

Bah, a white pizza with seafood & sundried tomatoes > bacon bits.

/barf

Don't argue with the pizza.

There's no argument that I can see. Seafood on a pizza equals fail.

Yeah, but that's more because of my raging alcoholism than anything I eat.

I havent had a drop since July 2008 and have dropped from 160 to 125 lbs. I have an occassional Big Gulp now and then, but mostly drink water, sweet tea and Minute maid juices.

Alcohol and sodas put on the pounds like nobodys business. :(

srsly.

I love seafood and eat it like 3-4 nights/week, but in my wildest imagination, I can't imagine a seafood pizza tasting good.

False. White "pizza" is NOT pizza. Pizza is all about the sauce, and since that cheese-bread abomination you speak of doesn't have any, it's not worthy of the "pizza" title. Furthermore, if I wanted bread with cheese I would stick some break in the microwave and throw some shredded mozarella and garlic on top. Much better, much cheaper, and isn't posing as anything.

Nope pizza.

That's what I would have thought. I've been to several pizza shows. I've tried more different types of pizza & toppings than most people even knew existed as toppings. The seafood pizza was incredible. And, for what it's worth, I believe that clams are a very common topping in Italy. In the U.S., anchovies are fairly well known as a topping (not really that popular though. Then again, most people have probably never tried anchovies on pizza.)

The White Pizza I had tonight definitely had a sauce, it consisted of olive oil, fresh garlic and crushed red peppers. When I'd eat a slice "sauce" would squirt out the sides. You fail because Pizza is all about the crust. That is bar none the most important factor in any Pizza. Pizza Bianca (white pizza) can be had all over Italy, so that makes it - pizza...

White Pizza is like Chili with Beans, technically it's not authentic, and shouldn't be considered Chili. But enough people eat it to where it's accepted by most as legitimate. Hence the "white" before saying Pizza. And in some form the White Pizza dates back to the 16th century.

the thought of combining any fish with cheese except tuna from a can just makes me gag a little bit.
