I got 29.0xx sec 1M with my opty 144 @3.0ghz. That was my best time, but I don't have a link. And different memory now, so it's slower.

i'm doing 29sec with my 146 @ 2.8ghz.

after going thru the results I find it strange that i'm getting faster times then some that have 2.9 or 3ghz clocks.

Super PI is very sensitive to memory latency isn't it?

Yes it is VERY sensitive to memory.

(speed step drops multi to 6x, is @ 9x when app is running)

Wow that is nice. Can't wait for conroe.

Sad to say but the chip is no longer with us.🙁

No wonder, anyhow getting about 31@1M.

477 Seconds (1 Mil)

K6-2 550.... I'm going to try and SuperPI my AMD K5 PR133 as well as my Pentium 90 CPU and see what happens. I'll keep ya'll posted on progress 😉

1M ran 31.969sec when assigned to CPU 2 -- FX60 @ 2.91GHZ
1M ran 30.484sec when assigned to CPU 2 -- FX60 @ 3.02GHZ

Does that seem right??

ok i used v1.4 on linux with wine
1.4 with sse2 mod:
1M 38s
2M 1m 24s
1.4 with sse3 mod:
1M 38s
2M 1m 24s

there are variances between the versions i'm sure i could get some faster numbers with older versions
this is with my prescott @3.2 cause of the 100+ temps we've been getting lately in my city

34 Seconds 1M with Athlon 64 3500+ @ 2.75 GHz (1.344V). DDR2 running at slightly less than 667 mhz. Seems AM2 is a bit worse than 939 at SuperPi if your RAM is running at any speed under DDR2-800

I'll get back to you guys when I work up the courage to boot Windows on this thing at its max of 3.3+ GHz at 1.6V 😉

Well I just built my comp and didn't want to wait for Conroe, so I thought AM2 was the logical way to go since I can still re-use DDR2 if I ever go Conroe or anything...also AM2's performance in relation to 939 is dependent mostly on RAM speed. With DDR2-533, it's a bit slower, with 667, it's about even, and with 800+, it has a slight performance advantage over 939. I don't think of AM2 as a new socket for now, just something that will let me use DDR2 so that my upgrade paths for the future are better...

I shudder to think what kind of moron would post a score without saying the test parameters. Anywho your crappy laptop is slow for sure no point in benchmarking it.

My rig:

1M @ 30 Sec
2M @ 70 sec

lolwtfbbq !!!!

Not surprising.

Paris is basically an A64 with less cache.

The best results i've been able to get outta my rig thus far:
SuperPI 1.5 31.516

2 min 29 sec for 1M SuperPi on a 1.4GHz Celeron Tualatin.

I am buying a new machine after the Core 2 Duo release and resulting CPU pricing shakeout.
