You are not getting it...I dont care how far you are away from chinkgai as much as why one core got a much different time then the other core...usually they should be pretty close unless you didn't start them realtively close to one another, and even then I wouldn't buy that big of a diff...Look I only get like 2 sec difference between the cores...

Dnavarro, it sounds like a scheduling issue with your overclocked FX. One instance is getting a higher amount of the cpu time. For example, if I set one of my Superpi priorities higher than normal while leaving the other normal on my X2 even though I start them at the same time I get a larger disparity in the time it takes to complete each of them. By the way nice overclock! Enjoy the gaming goodness!

Duvie, I probably did start them 1 second off from eachother. I have made dual runs of 32m, 8m and 1m that have been spot on. It is possible I started them off, or one CPU had a larger load (I have other applications running) who knows. But it is only two seconds, so I didn't make a big deal about it (the 8m). If you are speaking of the 32m Dual run, I definiteyl started the second later. Probably 7 or 8 seconds later. I had no idea that was what you were speaking of. The 8m runs were at most 1 second apart (started). I just showed the 32m dual run for stability purposes.

with no stability required amybe we should move this thread to xs 😛

j/k, but kinda skewers the results if that isn't listed in the OP. also should have the cooling listed.

Nice eva2000..... 🙂

Looks like I need to bump it up a notch.... 😉 (Stability tested OC BTW... I just do not like the additional VCore needed for a small jump)

Sorry, it take me a while to respond to this thread, been a little busy

6 mins 3 seconds

AMD Athlon 64 3500+ @ 2.7GHz (1.72Vcore)
Epox 9NPA+ SLI
2x1GB OCZ ValueSelect RAM @ stock timings (2T) and voltage

I used the SSE3 patched version

System specs:

DFI NF4 Ultra D modded to SLI
Gskill 4400LE @ 300MHz 2-4-3-8 2.9V
X2 3800+ @ 3.0Ghz 1.6V Vapo LS cooled
Dual Raptors RAID 0
PCP&C 510 SLI Power Supply

Also, I am still tweaking this setup and I should have 3.1Gig stable at SuperPi 32m. I'll post my 8m results tonight hopefully 🙂

SSE3 8M SuperPi Dual run
SSE3 8M SuperPi

whao your cpu is HAWT

can i be added to the list?

"SSE3 6min 5sec

A64 3000+ Venice
MSI K8N Neo2 Plat
Patrtiot XBL 1GB kit (1:1, 2.5-3-3-7)
"

I need more info.

CPU Type
CPU Speed
Memory Speed and rather its Single Channel or Dual Channel
Memory Ammount
Memory Timings
What version of PI

I dont want to post half missing info thats all 😉

Seems like you get as much P-D info I have gotten trying to get soime encoding benchmarks...I guess this must be proof no one is buying them around these parts.....

I just did this for fun becase I had nothing better to do. I did have a screen shot, but when I tried to resize it, it got all distorted.

I got 9m 14.141 sec with my poor old Athlon XP 3200+ and my slow PC2700 memory at 2.5-3-3-7.

Lol, no, you don't need to do anything. Just thought I would share time I got.

UPDATED. Wow Jesus them memory settings are really holding your system back.

Yea, this RAM wont overclock at all (the most i can get out of it is a FSB of 205MHz)

as of right now its running at 193MH (instead of 200), as thats the closest i can get to 200MHz while still keeping my CPU overclock stable

o well 🙁
