Just bought it, mainly because I believe that puts me at the 2400 needed to be spent this month to get 800 free points. Basically it was a free game!
 
Finally beat the game tonight. Currently sitting at 42% complete overall with around 1132 deaths. I only have the first world at 100% and haven't even tried any dark levels, bandages, or warp zones from world 2 and on. My main goal was to finish and get the achievement, then I'll go back and see what I can do.

That's pretty much what I'm shooting for. When I get stuck too much on a level I'll look at a guide and go bandage hunting for a while or something, and then come back to the harder level in the main game. It really is a ton of content and gameplay for $10. The main game seems to be long enough (~5-6 hours), then you have to go back and make sure you get A+ on all levels, then you need to find all the bandages (which takes time even with a guide), then there's the warp zones, and finally you need to do that in the dark zone which should take as long as the original.

Best part is that it so far has never felt like a grind. Solid game.
 
I haven't touched the game since before I got cod blops. I'll boot it up later, update it, and see if anything happens to my save. I'll report back.
