There's an area in the special world that royally sucks. it's the one with all the bullet bills.

That's not very hard, getting all the levels is much harder, and more time consuming

That level *is* pretty hard.

I mean, the secret levels are harder, but BB1 isn't exactly easy.

you can more or less fly over teh entire level with a yoshi & blue turtle shell, making it pretty easy

and actually IIRC if you fly as far as you can and then just glide teh rest of the way you wil land on the saws and yoshi will just bounce off them and you can just hold forward and make it to teh end

You sure? the level has a fixed scrolling speed (which is what makes it so hard).

I've been playing Mario World the past day or two. Great game! BB1 is a toughie. The special world is the toughest in my opinion. "Tubular" (where you have to use those P balloons) is the most annoying one!

I totally forgot about that one. that's definitely the hardest one.

Butter Bridge 1 is pretty hard, I think. Tubular is really difficult, though... Man. I remember getting the hell through that level as fast as I could.

God I wish video game companies (NINTENDO) would get a fvcking clue and give us a more intricate version of a 2d side scroller... or even a 3d/2d (like smash brothers) side-scrolling Mario-style game. Mario (until he came out in disgusting 3d) is the apex of control. He reacts faster than any other character in a game - ie: he instantly changes direction, throws a fireball, flicks his tail, punches a brick, flicks his cape, etc..

Gimme Super Mario World 2!!!!! I promise everyone on Earth will buy it.

Oh, I think I remember the easy way to pass BB1. There's a spot where you can use the cape to fly and if you get it just right you can fly along underneath the bridge the entire way... it's really easy that way :)

No joke. I know I would. I've played and beaten ALL the Mario games multiple times (up to Mario 64 at least)... it's taken way too many hours of my time...

Completely agreed.

And, you think that's hard? Wait until you have to get to the secret level with the bullet bills by gliding under the saws in the lower of the bridge levels. That's pretty damn tough.

Yoshi's Island is probably the best video game sequel ever made. It's ALMOST as good as Super Mario World.

The hardest level in the game is the fortress in bowser's area that leads to his back door. OMFG hard. So many timed jumps cause spikey crap is everywhere.
