What's the difference between Ritek G03 and G04?
 
Very Very good media, anybody doubting the quality of this media....DONT! I have burnt this on my Sony DRU500A and no problems whatsoever.
 
this is the same ritek media selling as 1x on many other sites.. i think i got a bad bundle of 100 riteks (confirmed g03 in dvddec) =( I burned a 25pack all at 2x no problems but this 100 pack always gets goofy results at 2x.

Hmm I hope this is better then the ritek cdr's made by the same
they were actually at one point forced to stop production of cds because of horrible quality
 
I've had about 4 spindles of Ritek G03 burn at 2X with no issues, however, as happened to SleepyRaTT, I got a batch that didn't burn at 2X reliably - no matter...it burned at 1X and they worked great. So buy these planning on 1X but it is very likely you can get 2X.

Ritek G04 is 2X guaranteed and also 4X compatible (since 4X is not a true standard yet...but it does burn at 4X). It costs more. It has the same physical appearance as Ritek G03, but it basically just burns faster.

Ritek just makes great media, period.
 
printco 1x-4x and samsung 2x have the same or better quality than ritek g3. dru500a can only burn 2x on princo 1x-4x. ritek is over price. ritek i got in spindle of 100 got few bad disk.
 
rima is a great store to order from, fast, cheap, and direct.

plus ritek media rules, i prefer the white top g03s. I like the new packaging
for them, they added the name Ridata on them.

I've been buying mine from rima.com for awhile and not a single bad Ritek disc yet.

It could be that the store you bought from weren't selling you the real quality Ritek. Be sure to buy from a trusted and reliable store.

The BeAll brand is also a quality and cheaper alternative.
 
i'm not sure about other online stores but rima online charges tax on top of shipping charge. why they include shipping cost in sub-total and apply tax to sub-total?

I ordered these same discs 2 days ago at $1.08/disc. This morning I wrote an email to rima asking them about price warranty. 2 hrs later I got a response from Rima stating that they will credit the price differences. Just like that. Great company to deal with and a fast response from customer service.

I got the 100 disc 4x Princo's from Rima.com not 2 weeks ago, and they are great! Only cost $96 shipped, and it's nice to burn a DVD in about 15 minutes 😛 Plus they have a nice, white top, which works great with a Sharpie.
