Hahah, I have had this phone for 6 mo's or so now... Got 2 of them from ubid.com for $89 ea. They are working beautifully. I love seeing these threads that have them as cheap as i bought them when they originally came out. Yes they were refurbs, but i have had absolutely no problems with them. ubid.com is worth a look once and a while :)

I have two of these, the 70 and the 40 (base model). They are phenomenal. Best thing is to get yourself a headset at any of the office stores, they make talking on the phone a breeze! Plus you can type away at your computer without any distractions. :)

These phones are great. I can bring it with to the video store almost a block away and talk on the phone. :)

A year ago I bought a reconditioned Panasonic KX-TG200. The microphone
was bad. People had a hard time hearing me. I shipped it to a repair
station under warranty. They replaced the mic and it has worked well ever since. I had to pay shipping to them. Return shipping was free.

I think that the problem with cordless phones is the quality control!
It seems like no two are the same. Well, that maybe an exaggeration but...

e-town.com has ratings on various phones...FYI
