I'm on the phone right now about the 120$ code. The guy said it's a "marketing issue" and is taking down my phone number to call me back.So it may be dead....not sure yet....he didn't say anything yet.

I am seriously considering getting another one of these for "just in case" at this price. I have a couple of devices in my bedroom I could use this to control. :)



wouldnt charge on the cradle

kept turning my harmon kardon rec completely off instead of standby mode and would not turn it back on

took forever to change channels even at the fastest setting

would all of a sudden start scrolling through all the inputs on my tv for no reason


spent hours with support trying to get it straightened out but found no real solution. Tech guy's only guess was the remote didnt like my combination of equipment.

After about 8 minutes on hold, he told me he'd call back in about 2-2.5 hours. not sure if he'll give me a special coupon code for online ordering or what...or if I'll have to order it over the phone and he'll apply the discounts on his end. It'll be cool if this works...

My order went through for $101 and change. That's $51 AR! So smoking hot, hope it doesn't get canceled or anything!

Did you try swapping it out with another one? There was a bad batch of them at one point that people had problems with. Once they swapped them out they loved them. I just got lucky I suppose!

sure did..Trust me, no one wanted this remote to work more than me. Hopefully this time it works. If it doesnt, Im going to make someone a nice deal on a remote!

I was able to get in on this deal. I had a 25 off 150 DPA coupon that did work. My total 109.06. Hot deal even if the rebate doesn't go through but I will still try.

I just checked ebay and you can get essentially the same deal on these remotes. Probably even more of a YMMV on whether you'll get the rebate back or not.

Damn sweet deal if it works. I got in on and earlier deal and payed a lot more. It's a great remote, I have very few concerns with it.

What time did you order your remote? I got a call back from a manager and was told it was sold out at 5:00 AM. I was also told I was SOL on the deal.

Can anyone update us with the time you placed your order, or if you called and got it ordered via phone? I'm still trying to get this honored through dell, but am about ready to say the heck with it. The problem is when I called to place the order originally, it was still listed as valid on the website, now it says sold out, so they are feeding me some stuff about, It is sold out now, sorry...

I don't see any particular vendor listed on the rebate form. But that vendor seems to have more than its share of negative reviews.

I ordered mine this morning at 10 am, and I just received confirmation that it has shipped. I used the $120 off coupon, and a $25 off $150 coupon, and then got another $3 and change off for using my Preferred account. Total came to $101.92 before rebate. Good luck to everyone else.
