Newbie questions: My system played the 720 and 1080 ones using Nero 6 but I don't think it was high def. The system test showed me way below the minimum needed for 720. I just have a ti4200 and amd 2100 and a Compaq monitor. For HDD wouldn't I need a monitor capable of HDD and a better video card? What would work with the 3000 amd 64 newcastle I'm upgrading to?

To think I might have missed this if only the crabs were allowed to post.
Wing,
A real eye-opener for me. Also several of the other .wmv files that are available on this site. 😀😀😀

For Newbies:

You need at least 1920 vertical lines (or width) and 1080 horizontal lines (or height) on your monitor to take full advantage of the video.

1280x1024 is under 1920x1080 so the picture gets scaled (missing some pixels). The 2005fpw is at 1680x1050, it is still missing some pixels but close enough for widescreen aspect ratio.. For best picture quality, you need the 1920x1200 (widescreen, 2405fpw) to get all the pixels to display.

I don't have a 2405FPW, but these look great on my Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 2070 SB. The clarity is awesome. The surround sound isn't bad either.
