Big Lots often has a 3 or 4 pack of the stuff for 99 cents, though YMMV on how dried-out it is. I seal mine in a ziplock baggie after evacuating all the air... seems to have a far longer shelf-life after being opened (at least for the squeeze-tube dispensor).

Keep your SG in the fridge. Gel seems to keep longer than the thin stuff. For your most important repairs get some name brand stuff too. The Loctite squeeze grip bottle keeps for months in a fridge.

SG works as a good primer for other glues that might not stick to your surface.
