Super comfused.....and getting real MAD BF2

Hey, I just got my first weapon unlock in BF2, I wanted to use the weapon.

I go to singleplayer mode and it's not there, it shows that it's unlocked but where the hell is it and how do i use it????????

I am getting so pissed, I can see it's unlocked and then when I enter the board it's not listed at all.

I chose the new sniper rifle, so when I go into the singleplayer mode i chose the sniper kit, where the fvck is it?????

What do i have to do to get this stupid thing to work????

u know to press the little flashing switch weapons button? it looks kinda like recycling arrows or something.

Upper right portion of the kit box, not sure how to describe this. the box that you select your kit, look in upper right corner, see arrows? press to scroll through your weapons.

For some reason, I don't think that the unlocked weapons are available in single player mode. At least, I can't select the weapon I unlocked when playing single player, though I can access the weapon when online.
