Looking for a way to run either MythTV or SageTV on an old computer and stream to PS3, which I alreay own. I think requirements are fairly low for the pc as long as I have a good tuner and fast wired network.

1) Can I buy a $50 computer on craigslist, GigaBit network card, and tuner card to accomplish HD DVR?

2) To timeshift would I need a fast computer?

3) If so, could I accomplish this with a video card?

Anything else I should consider? Other recommendations?

I know just enough to be dangerous.
