Anyone heard anything about these? I need to get wireless at work across the parking lot to another warehouse. Purchased a WAP54G to put in the other warehouse to try and connect to a WRT54GS on this end. Signal just too weak to get to work. If I got two of these antennas I could point them at each other. Any other ideas would be appreciated. Trying to keep the cost down as this is just a temporary situation.

Thanks,

G

Directional antennas are pretty cheap. Just by some and make sure you do proper grounding/lightning protection and you're done.

While a permanent parabolic antenna would work better than what I posted, particularly for a permanent setup, Gabornski did say that this is just a temporary situation, so spending around $200 (for antennas at both ends of the connection) might not be a good idea. Even if it is a permanent solution, I'd still do the paper parabolic "kit" that I posted first, just to see if it is possible to establish a line-of-sight connection before buying the permanent antennas.
