Well if Karma works then .... the giants didn't win, the patriots lost.

The actual football game usually sucks, as it did this year. The ads are supposed to make up for the horribly boring game, but they didn't this year.

I'm disappointed. :(

I don't agree. I'm not a football fan at all and I thought the game was great. A real cliff hanger. For me it didn't matter who. I thought the ad's were mostly meh except for some exceptions.

I dunno. I suppose it was good end of game football suspense. Though the rest of the game was mostly boring. Really... 7-3 through 3 quarters? If you watched this game any other week it would be disappointing.

I watch the super bowl every year, and every year I expect more. It never delivers. The booze delivers though.

That Victorias Secret ad was terrible! Nothing like the past few years ads. Needed more chicks in lingerie!

The patriots losing didn't make any sense though. It felt like they came in really hard at the end of the 4th, and then they stopped playing again and the giants walked all over them.

Before the game
Patriots - 18 wins, 0 losses
Giants - 13 wins, 6 losses

There was no question that the Patriots would win when the game started. What a weird turn of events.

I think the worst commercials that tried to be funny were the salesgenie ones. What the heck is that supposed to be for anyway? They had ads last year as well I think.

i don't know how people can say this was a bad year for SB ads...i laughed more during the ads this year than last year. although, it was such a great football game the ads were not much more than an afterthought.

I think the general consensus from my Super Bowl party was that the Doritos commercial was the funniest. It didn't help that one of the guys predicted that when they guy set out the mouse trap that he would eat the whole bag, then go after the little piece on the mouse trap. Only a couple seconds later did the huge mouse bust through the wall and start punching the guy in the face. :D

EDIT: Haha drPizza! Didn't see that you posted the same exact thing two posts up :). That definitely made it funnier. I also liked that they didn't really try to make it look like a huge mouse at all, it was painfully obvious it was just a guy in a mouse costume. :D :D

That bridgestone tire ad with Alice Cooper and Richard Simmons was funny, I am still chuckling about it.
