These are actual prices for the Feb 1st upcoming SuperBowl in Tampa FL. Have the prices always been this insane? On average, 2 tickets is gonna cost $5 grand and that's not including transportation, hotel or beer.

I know they get something like a million dollars for a 30-sec commercial too. Really can't see how anyone who isn't rich could afford to go the game.

Lower A Between the 20 yd lines, Lower/Club $6,750.00
Lower B Goal to 20 Yd Lines, Lower/Club Level $4,750.00
Lower C Corners, Lower Level> $3,250.00
Lower D End Zones, $2,950.00
Upper A Between the 20 yd lines, Upper Level $3,750.00
Upper B Goal to 20 yd line, Upper Level $2,650.00
Upper C Corners Upper Level $2,350.00

Super bowl ticket prices go up exponentially.
Super Bowl I (1967) $6-$12
Super Bowl XV (1981) $40
Super Bowl XXII (1988) $100
Super Bowl XXX (1996) $200-$350
Super Bowl XXXIII (1999) $325

Your prices are a bit high though since it's a reseller, a scalper if you will.

Top official prices are over 1k, but 75% are under 1k, the prices you quote are for the stupid tax and last minute buying tax from a scalper.

$325 seems crazy cheap for the Super Bowl. Regular season lower level center ice tickets for the NJ Devils cost $200 apiece, but that does include dinner.

The NFL ought to charge whatever they can get for Super Bowl tickets, who cares if poor people can't afford to go? 😕 I'd rather see the NFL get the money than some scalper that adds no value.
