sunrocket and remote desktop?

has anyone got this working? Forwarding port 3389 should in theory work... as I've done it w/ just a router.. but it doesn't seem to be working for me.

I'm guessing you have the gizmo in front of your router. You need to log into the gizmo and allow it to forward ports to your router. I don't remember how to do it, someone posted in the hot deals thread. I just stuck mine behind the router so I didn't have to fiddle with it. Works fine.

yeah, i have the remote desktop ports forwarding all the way through, but I can't get a connection. VNC works fine.. so I have no idea what might be blocking it

hehe...do you have Remote Desktop support turned on and users added to the remote desktop user group on the PC you're trying to connect to?

someone mentioned a pointer to get this working? any idea where? i just installed my gizmo last night (i sure wish i knew it could have gone on the other side of my router!!!)

i cant connect to anything at home today from work.

Some users have found that the AC-211 "Gizmo" doesn't forward port 3389 correctly. After changing the port remote desktop uses, things worked fine.
