"Transitions" is another brand name,same deal,
the lenses darken in Sunlight,😎:sun:

I will only buy Photogray type lenses,made of real glass for myself.

No plastic to scratch easy for me.

A lot of the clip-ons really don't look that bad. Personally, I'd definitely go with polarized lenses.

Maybe one of them has prescription sunglasses for a reasonable price (under $50)

Personally, I hate the photograys and just plain tinting. My polarized prescription glasses are by far my favorite pair.

Yeah there are magnetic ones even that are made to fit exactly over the matching frames. Saves having to carry two pairs.

I wear contacts though.

BTW, do follow the advise on Polarized that you are getting any way you do it. Once you have had a pair, you will understand. I wear mine on rainy days too as it improves visibility a great deal.

some ATM's I cannot read with polarized lenses on...just an FYI.

on the water and road polarized is needed.

Thank's for the advice you guys.

Anyway's, I already bought a new pair of glasses so prescription sunglass are out of the question or contacts.

Maybe I'll just contact my opt. Dr. see if they have clips right for my glass.

P.S I am just going to use the sunglasses for driving purpose because When the sunsets, It's hard to see so well especiall in freeway situation.

you can get clips that fit ideally on your current frames. talk to your optometrist.

The same is true in an aviation cockpit (issues - not recommended). Polarized lens will hide the displays if any of the materials are stressed or already polarized to remove glare. The same effect, and I know you know this but for the benefit of others, can be seen by taking one pair and rotate them 90 degrees to another pair. The lens interfer and the result is no light passes through.

I'm gonna need some clip ons or something for my glasses.. I'm playing in the $2k buyin NLHE world series of poker event in a couple weeks.. can't see the cards on the table without my glasses but I want to hide my eyes. and I hate contacts

Go to your eye doc and get some perscription driving glasses made. Then you can look all mafia rather than looking like a douche. 🙂
