Personally I would say any Ray Ban, Revo, Oakley or Maui Jim although I am not a fan of Maui Jim simply because I don't think they are "that good"....

I have some old Oakleys that I like and my Fiancee has some Polarized Ray Bans that she likes, my next pair will be Ray Bans....good luck.

I guess I'm both. I own the following:

1 pair Oakley Juliet Plasma Fire $285.00
1 pair Oakley Twenty Ice Iridium $135.00
1 Pair Oakley C-wire Ice Iridium $155.00

That's $575.00 in Oakleys and I love them all.

I highly recommend the Juliet's.

I've had a pair of Oakley Minutes (silver/ice lenses) since last October, and I can honestly say it's one of the best purchases I've ever made. My face is really small, so my Minutes are some of the only glasses that actually fit right and look good on my face. Also, the optics on the Minutes are tons better than any drugstore glasses I've had before - and trust me, I've had MANY pairs of $10 sunglasses.

Anyway, I'm happy enough with the $15 Foster Grants I have now. They protect my eyes fine, I'm sure, and they aren't distorted or anything. 100% UV protection, or something like that. Are $300 glasses good for 2000% protection? Explain.

no, but a 300,000$ ferrari doesnt provide 2000% performance increase over a 15,000$ civic either. sure it'll also get you places but it'll feel so much better. i cant stand flimsy cheap sunglasses.

if you had a pair of expensive sunglasses, youd be more carefully to its treatment and it wouldnt be scratched/broken/lost as often. i actually stepped on my Oakleys after 1.5 years of faithful service...but now its back to 95%. and i can get a completely new pair replaced for 30$ so not much loss
