sunburned:(

Just came back from Six Flags and I got an awful sun burn on my back and shoulders! I bought this stuff called solarcaine, it worked awsome for teh first 30 seconds, but then the pain came right back. My g/f bought Lidocaine: cool aloe ice, and it helped a little, but the pain still bothers me so much. What else is good for sunburns?

Calamine...lotion...

theres this stuff i use that if you put it on a lot when you first get burned it will go away in a day or so.
i forget the name of it but it comes in a clear bottle and its a green goo.

I'm suprised the thread hasn't been overrun by the "you are a moron. Sunburn is preventable. Enjoy you cancer." posts.

Get Banana Boat (or Target brand) aloe lotion, worked great for me after a nasty sunburn....is that the green goo you are talking about?

in the water park

edit, its weird, b/c I have been in teh sun for hours before w/o my shirt and I never got sunburn.

I believe the water can magnify the intensity of the sun's rays.

the water keeps the skin cool so you dont notice the burning. uv rays still do their damage.
