Do you just yank them out of their sockets? I don't want to solder anything and ruin the rheobus. Is it as easy as pulling them out and pushing the new ones in? If I get dimmer ones, will I have to worry about adding resistance, etc?

I've replaced the LEDs in both my Sunbeams. Easy. Pull the old ones out, put the new ones in. The original ones have three pins (for the dual-color) and it took me a couple tries to get the two pin LEDs I bought to work right. I didn't try too hard, but I could only get the LEDs to power at either 0-7v or 7-12v. This was okay by me, as I usually have my fans turned to at least half so I get the LED from 7v and up. The process took about 5 minutes total, and I like the dimmer LEDs that match my lighting schemes better than red/blue. (Purple LEDs on one, just red on the other).
