I'm in Hawaii right now on vacation and I was just burned. I wanted to know if/how can I prevent my skin from peeling so I can keep this tan. Because this one time I got burned on my feet it turned into a tan which lasted for 2 months so thats what I'm trying to achieve here.

Aloe lotion. Lots of aloe lotion. But, if your body intends for it to peel, that's what it's going to do.

You will peel. There is no stopping.
The tan will not go away, it's deeper down than that. At least for me.

were you laying out? or just not wearing suntanlotion

Since you're already going to get cancer, just go out again today with no lotion on. Play in the water a lot. You'll burn your burn off, peel uber fast, and stay tan. Did that last year 🙁

I wore suntan lotion SPF 15 on my arms and face, some of my face was burned where I guess I didn't put the lotion and My arms burned anyways even with it fully covered but not too bad. I forgot to put some on my legs and they got it the worst. I've been using aloe gel continuously so I'll see how it goes at the end of this week.

How bad is the burn? If I go out for too long, I get a light burn(its red but doesn't hurt)...this never peels, it just fades into a darker tan. If its burned to the point of a lot of pain...you're probably gonna peel, aloe is the only thing to try to stop it.

Tar - thick black tar.

It will help keep your damaged skin in place and the pigment will add color
to the destroyed flesh that will replace the upper layers as it falls off.

Yea it hurt a lot but it strange because where I had the most pain, because my pants were constantly touching back of my legs I have not peel at all. But where it burned but didn't hurt seems like it's flaking but not peeling so far. Only the back of my hands have shown a little flaking, I put some aloe on my nose but not constantly and it peeled right off yesterday.
