Sun monitor on a PC?

I'm looking at getting a 2nd hand sony sun monitor (X7121A) which comes with a DB13W3 connector instead of the standard PC vga connector.

Is getting this to work as simple as buying a converter to HD15 pin-out?

How much does one of those cost?

Any disadvantages to running this set-up?

cheers,

Well, er, great. But I'm just getting the monitor. £225 is a bargain for a 21" over here.

Thanks for the bump 😀

OK it's a X7121a (not mentioned on that page you showed).

Interestingly having done a bit of research it seems this monitor has a 2m captive D13WB3 cable but ALSO has a HD15 video-in socket. So I guess I just need a HD15 extension cable or something like that...?

I ran a Sun 20" monitor with a PC for like 6 months, using only a simple adapter, so I dont see why it shouldnt work with this monitor 🙂
