I hope you all can help me. I down loaded Star Office for word processing and spread sheet use and it is a great program except one thing. Now, every time I connect to the internet, star office automatically starts its self. I use AOL and MSN as dial up, have win98se. I would like to know how to disable star office from automatically running. I hope theres aome Star Office guru's here. Thanks, JAB

Look in tools-options. There is an internet option and I believe you can set default to not use StarOffice. Just look around. It was asked during install and I said NO. I did not want to use StarOffice for Internet.

Thanks DaveR, I went into tools, and tried to disable anyhting to do with internet. It still does it. I think I'll un-install it again, re-install, and watch for that notice you talked about. Thanks Again, JAB

Yes, I believe it is asking if you want to setup internet options very early in the install process!

Also, try tools-option-browser and select Use External browser!
