Well I've heard some of the more popular trails tend to get pretty crowded. But as with most national parks, it's pretty easy to get some solitude the farther out one gets.
We didn't get into any crowds in Olympic and Ranier, but Yosemite was like madness. The best thing to do there to get away from people is to take some of the more remote trails. For example, the trail to Nevada / Vernal Falls is one of the most popular and crowded trails in the park. But there is a slightly longer and more strenuous trail to the falls that we took and saw almost nobody. And it was considerably more scenic (we took the shorter trail back).
