Summer School vs. CEE Internship

I can get an internship under the City Engineer for a nearby city or I can take a few classes to get ahead a whole quarter (O-Chem, C++, Art History, Multivariable calc). I'll be a second year after the end of this quarter. What should i do? Or should I just get cross faded everyday?

Internship. The earlier you start getting stuff like this on your resume the better, plus the experience and contacts gained could be invaluable. I am, of course, assuming the internship relates to what you eventually want to be doing.

No question internship, unless you're set on grad school (and even then it's questionable) and summer school will provide a huge boost to your GPA somehow..

You'll learn more, get much needed real world experience, get paid (?) rather than paying, and meet lots of great working people. I pity the fool who went to summer school instead of getting internships..

I'll echo in and say internships as well. Only case I would say summer school is better is if you're pressed financially and need to hurry up to finish your degree.
